Soundscape Launches Next Gen VR Music Platform for VR and PC

Soundscape – the first-ever VR experience built natively on Unreal Engine 5, is launching today on Steam for PC and VR.

Soundscape is best described as a psychedelic VR music festival – here’s a quick gameplay trailer that shows off a bit of the experience. It has a number of deals with artists like deadmau5, GRiZ, Evanescence and Slash who have released experiences on the platform. It also features an independent listening mode – plug in your own personal Spotify or Apple Music playlist, and the platform uses an AI engine to analyze the track and build an audio-reactive visual experience around it, kind of similar to how lights interact with music at EDM concerts.

Introducing Unreal Engine 5 to VR has made Soundscape one of the most in-depth VR experiences currently available, and as of today, it’s available on Steam for $39.99.

I've been an avid gamer since I stumbled upon ZORK running in my local Radio Shack in 1980. Ten years later I was working for Sierra Online. Since then I've owned nearly every game system and most of the games to go with them. Not sure if 40+ years of gaming qualifies me to write reviews, but I do it anyway.
