Lindsey Stirling Music Pack for Synth Riders Review – PC

After four attempts to create some video content for the Lindsey Stirling Music Pack for Synth Riders I’m giving up.  Neither YouTube nor any of the record labels working with Lindsey Stirling’s music seem to acknowledge the concept of “fair use”.  It’s a shame really because to see this game in action totally makes you want to play it, but I will try my best to describe this awesomeness with mere words…and this fancy trailer.

Simply put, Lindsey Stirling’s music is the peanut butter to Synth Riders’ chocolate.  The very nature of her chosen instrument along with her chosen style of music is the perfect fit with Synth Riders virtual body interactions.  Moving your hands and swirling your arms just seems so naturally in-sync; something the game has been praised for previously, but it has achieved a new peak of greatness with this expansion.  Immerse yourself in five of Lindsey’s best tracks:

  • Underground + Experience
  • Shatter Me (feat. Lzzy Hale)
  • First Light
  • Mirage (feat. Raja Kumari)
  • Shadows

I was disappointed that you couldn’t use the visual “experience” on any song other than Underground.  You’re likely to start with that song and get spoiled really fast with not only an amazing song choice but this whole new virtual world dedicated to Lindsey.  It’s like getting to perform in one of her own music videos.  I was impressed with the difficulty, which can provide a good challenge even on the Normal setting, throwing in some unexpected body panels to dodge, then scales sharply with the addition of new notes/beats and more complicated trail designs.  You’ll get a major workout trying to keep up with Lindsey in this virtual tour.

If you are a fan of Synth Riders then you owe it to yourself to get this song pack, and if you are a fan of Lindsey Stirling’s music then I’d say this track pack is also reason enough to purchase the core game just to experience her music in an entirely new way.   I’ve been playing Synth Riders since it launched, and I have played all of the extra tracks and music packs that have released since, and I can honestly say, this is the best song pack to date.  But music is subjective, and I may be a bit biased when it comes to Lindsey.

Today, Call of Duty revealed a new collaboration that, for the first time, allowed actual war photojournalists inside Call of Duty®: Vanguard to capture in-game war photographs that feel true to life, through the lens as if they were embedded within the war missions themselves.

Renowned long-time war photojournalists Alex Potter and Sebastiano Tomada Piccolmini have vast experience shooting in conflict regions, including numerous battles throughout the Middle East. For the upcoming release of the World War II-themed Vanguard, which is scheduled for release on November 5th, the two ventured inside the game engine for an exclusive photoshoot held at publisher Activision’s motion capture studios. Potter and Piccolmini’s journeys were then reflected in a trailer, allowing fans to see these photographers’ experiences and reactions in real time.

Call of Duty: Vanguard captures the epic intimacy of World War II in an incredibly immersive manner,” said Fernando Machado, Chief Marketing Officer, Activision Blizzard. “We tested its realism by sending in Alex Potter and Sebastiano Tomada Piccolomini with special camera-like portals into the game engine itself, which took them back in time as if they were a photographer in that period, showing how real Vanguard will truly look and feel to gamers everywhere.”

Vanguard’s incredible graphics and visual immersion reflect the latest technological advancements coming when the new game launches next month, including its use of photogrammetry where locations, scenes and objects are recreated in-game to lifelike photoreal quality.

Photojournalists Alex and Sebastiano waited for the right moments to snap their shots the same way they would on the ground. “These were situations that I would normally capture,” said Alex Potter in the film. “I was impressed with how kinetic and immersive it all was,” added Sebastiano Tomada Piccolmini. “As photographers, this is what conflict looks like.”

Limited edition prints of the Call of Duty: Vanguard in-game photography will be available at and Bleecker Trading NY starting at 3pm ET on October 21. All proceeds from the photography sales will be donated to the Call of Duty Endowment.

“This special collaboration presents a great opportunity to continue raising awareness and honoring our veterans as we further our mission to help them find high-quality jobs,” said Dan Goldenberg, Executive Director of the Call of Duty Endowment.

The Call of Duty Endowment has funded the placement of more than 90,000 veterans into high-quality employment since its inception and aims to place 100,000 veterans into meaningful jobs by 2024. The Endowment’s 2020 cost to place a veteran was $515, providing employment at about 1/9 the cost of U.S. Department of Labor efforts.

Call of Duty: Vanguard is scheduled for release on November 5, 2021. Vanguard is the newest release from the blockbuster franchise that has sold over 400 million copies to date over its lifetime.

Today, Eidos-Montréal revealed a brand-new, high-octane TV spot to set the stage for next week’s official launch of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. In the trailer, viewers are dropped straight into the middle of a mid-battle Huddle, where Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket and Groot assess the situation, discuss strategy and, of course, banter before deciding to go with Plan B — an all-out, coordinated assault appropriately fueled by Mötley Crüe’s “Kickstart My Heart.”

This same Huddle mechanic will prove essential for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy players as they fight to overcome seemingly impossible odds throughout their journey across the galaxy. In the game, players will be able to call a Huddle during combat and choose which motivational words to offer the team. If chosen correctly, all of the Guardians will receive a powerup, making it easier for them to bang enemy heads while listening to one of the game’s 30 headbanging tracks.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will be available on PlayStation®5 console, PlayStation®4 console, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles, PC, and streaming via GeForce NOW on October 26, 2021. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Cloud Version for Nintendo Switch also coming to select regions October 26.

Bone crushing sci-fi third-person action coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S & PC

110 Industries is excited to announce that high-octane third-person action game Wanted: Dead is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Featuring spectacular melee combat and exciting gunplay, Wanted: Dead’s new teaser trailer offers a peek at a dark and dangerous version of sci-fi Hong Kong where you will need sharpened skills to survive.

Players assume the role of Lt. Hannah Stone, leader of the “Zombie Squad”, an elite team who work outside the purview of the traditional police force. Taking inspiration from the likes of Devil May Cry and Bayonetta, a deep combat system will give you the opportunity to take on enemies up-close and personal, or engage with guns from a distance, with cool slow-motion sequences, and a limb-severing mechanic that changes enemy attack patterns adding style and substance to combat encounters.

Among the talented team working on the game’s finessed combat systems are developers that previously worked on Ninja Gaiden and the Dead or Alive series.

Offering a change of pace to Wanted: Dead’s adrenaline-pumping combat, non-combat sections and the chance for Lt. Stone to chill at the HQ to consume food and drinks for buffs gives the game intriguing variety, as well as offering players the chance to soak in more of its rich lo-tech sci-fi world.

“Our latest trailer gives a glimpse of Wanted: Dead in glorious motion and we can’t wait to share more about the deep combat systems that underpin that breathtaking action”, said Founder and Creative Director at 110 Industries, Sergei Kolobashkin.
