First Gameplay Trailer for Dolmen Revealed at Gamescom 2021

During gamescom, Prime Matter and Massive Work Studio published two new story and gameplay trailers for Dolmen, the third-person action-RPG set on the unique horror sci-fi planet of Revion Prime. Dolmen is slated for release in 2022 on PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

And for an even more extensive look at gameplay, check out the VODs from the LobosJr Dolmen playthroughs that streamed during gamescom:

About Dolmen:

Dolmen takes place in a sci-fi universe where humanity has colonized several star systems using space travel technology and genetic manipulation to adapt to the conditions. The Revion system is distant from the main inhabited area of the galaxy, but drew the attention of Zoan Corp. for emitting radiation different from other systems, suggesting the existence of other universes. Mysteriously, there is only one planet in this system, which was named Revion Prime.

Before the discovery of the Revion system there was no evidence for the existence of other dimensions. The scientific and military interest behind this discovery could destabilize the existing political balance but, more than that, research on Revion Prime also revealed the existence of an alien species called Vahani – whose role appears is be to roam the universes helping other species to evolve. Their interests are obscure, and it remains to be seen if the creation of xeno-species could have had any influence from them. The player will need to discover the secrets of Revion Prime and the Dolmen crystals to find out.

Team17 kicks off its Gamescom week with post-apocalyptic RPG, Broken Roads

Team17 and Drop Bear Bytes have today confirmed the development of Broken Roads, an original and narrative-rich, isometric, turn-based role-playing game set in an unforgiving, post-apocalyptic Western Australia. Scheduled to launch on Steam and console platforms in 2022, Broken Roads presents a post-apocalypse with real-world locations and landmarks serving as the backdrop for the complex stories of Australia’s survivors.

At the heart of Broken Roads’ thoughtful and mature storylines is a deep and meaningful morality system – the Moral Compass – that influences quests, dialogue, and character development. The system is shaped along four different philosophical paths: Humanist, Utilitarian, Machiavellian, and Nihilist, each with their own unique traits.
