The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners New Trailer, Save Path, Upgrades and More

With the launch of The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution on PC and PS VR2 arriving March 21, Skydance Interactive is offering players several options to enjoy The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners games.These include the award-winning first chapter, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners (Chapter 1), coming to PS VR2 the same day as Chapter 2 along with PS VR2 upgrades and the ability to transfer players’ Chapter 1 save data into Chapter 2 on supported platforms:

  • Chapter 1 Upgrade to PS VR2: PlayStation VR players looking to catch up on the The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners story can get a FREE upgrade to PS VR2 if they already own the Tourist Edition of the original title on PS VR. Those with the standard version on PS VR can pay $10 to play the original title on PS VR2. This upgrade will be available alongside the March 21 launch of Chapter 2: Retribution.
  • Chapter 1 Save Game Path Support for Each Platform: Skydance is adding more flexibility for save game data transfer between games and VR platforms. Players who have Chapter 1 saves can upload them to Chapter 2. More information on this process follows below:
    • Ensure Chapter 1 is updated to the latest patch, open the game and go to “File Export” and get code
    • Update and open Chapter 2, go to “New Game” and select “Import Save” when prompted
    • Input code in “Import Save” and players should be up and running

This transfer of save files is planned to eventually be a cross-platform feature, stay tuned for more information on it, including release date.
