Tales of Kenzera: ZAU’s Enchanting Original Soundtrack Available Now!

Today, EA Originals and Surgent Studios, in partnership with Lakeshore Records, released the official Tales of Kenzera: ZAU—Original Soundtrack, featuring music by Emmy-award winning composer Nainita Desai (14 Peaks: Nothing Is Impossible, Call of Duty, Immortality).

The 26-track soundtrack is available on Apple Music, iTunes Store, Amazon Music, Spotify, Tidal, YouTube Music and Deezer. To listen on these platforms, visit HERE.

Heavily influenced by the rich musical traditions of Africa, the Tales of Kenzera: ZAU—Original Soundtrack combines orchestra, electronics, African traditional instrumentation, as well as soaring vocalizations that convey the grief and ultimate joy unfolding in the game. The orchestral recordings took place at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London, as well as Vienna Austria, bringing together 120 musicians, studios and music teams – resulting in a sonic richness and cultural authenticity to the game’s score. Nainita’s global approach towards the game’s score spotlighted artists from South Africa, West Africa and more, in addition to featuring a choir that previously contributed to the iconic Black Panther soundtrack, creating a culturally rich musical experience.

Tales of Kenzera: ZAU is now available for $19.99 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC.

I've been an avid gamer since I stumbled upon ZORK running in my local Radio Shack in 1980. Ten years later I was working for Sierra Online. Since then I've owned nearly every game system and most of the games to go with them. Not sure if 40+ years of gaming qualifies me to write reviews, but I do it anyway.
