Reminder: Biotope – Aquarium Simulator out now on Steam

PC video games publisher 2tainment and independent studio MBL Development are releasing Biotope – Aquarium Simulator on Steam today.  Biotope is the first and only photorealistic aquarium simulator to date available on PC. The game makes it possible to cultivate, breed and trade populations of fishes and plants, and actively influence their life cycle.

“Playing Biotope is like having your real aquarium in your computer screen”, claims Stefan Weyl, Managing Director at 2tainment. “ You can even use authentic equipment such as filter pumps, lamps, and decorative objects”.

Biotope will be released in Early Access and it will remain like that between 6-12 months. The full version of the game will contain more chemical and biological stats to manage.

I've been an avid gamer since I stumbled upon ZORK running in my local Radio Shack in 1980. Ten years later I was working for Sierra Online. Since then I've owned nearly every game system and most of the games to go with them. Not sure if 40+ years of gaming qualifies me to write reviews, but I do it anyway.
