Fresh from Gamescom, we have new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III intel to share today, including “Operation 627,” the first Campaign mission that introduces the next chapter of the Modern Warfare universe, plus timing for Call of Duty: Next and Multiplayer Open Beta weekends.

Operation 627 takes players to an area that they know all too well – Verdansk, seen from a new perspective. This time, however, it’s 2023 and Verdansk is facing an all-new threat. Check out the Campaign mission walkthrough video here.

I've been an avid gamer since I stumbled upon ZORK running in my local Radio Shack in 1980. Ten years later I was working for Sierra Online. Since then I've owned nearly every game system and most of the games to go with them. Not sure if 40+ years of gaming qualifies me to write reviews, but I do it anyway.
