Puppet House release date has been announced!

Mark your calendars! Puppet House releases simultaneously on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5 on October 24th – just in time for Halloween!

Inspired by the VHS era horror classics, Puppet House is an atmospheric puzzle-adventure game that will instill fear in your heart, as much as it will make you grin at the sight of a bloodthirsty puppet!  Take on the role of detective Rick, investigating a series of mysterious disappearances of local residents. All the clues lead to an abandoned ventriloquist’s house, full of dark secrets and terrifying surprises.

When the peaceful town of Field Town begins receiving reports of mysterious disappearances, Rick decides to investigate. Things quickly turn to worse, when the detective stumbles upon a horrifying surprise left by the late ventriloquist.

Come and face a demonic puppet that was born through a strange ritual and is now killing anyone who tries to enter the mansion…Will you be able to uncover all the secrets before the evil force gets you?

Features:

  • Puzzle-Adventure – Puppet House is a classic take on the puzzle-adventure genre: look for clues and items, which will help you solve the many puzzles found in the game and progress the story.
  • VHS era horror – inspired by the horror classics from the 80’s and 90’s, Puppet House masterfully builds a dark and dreadful mood, while never taking the subject matter too seriously.
  • A puppet from hell – brought to life by a freak ritual, the titular puppet is a bloodthirsty incarnation of evil. It may be small, but its hunger for blood is gargantuan. Dare you to cross its path?

Puppet House is a passion project developed from the love of puppetry and B-class horror flicks from years passed. It’s a homage to our childhood and a sentimental trip down memory lane to a genre, which will always be close to our hearts.

I've been an avid gamer since I stumbled upon ZORK running in my local Radio Shack in 1980. Ten years later I was working for Sierra Online. Since then I've owned nearly every game system and most of the games to go with them. Not sure if 40+ years of gaming qualifies me to write reviews, but I do it anyway.
