F1 2020 Official TV Spot Unveiled

Codemasters® today reveals the all-action TV advert for F1® 2020, the official videogame of the 2020 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP. Featuring ‘Champion’ by Bishop Briggs and Tom Morello, the trailer will air across linear and digital platforms in time for the start of the revised 2020 season and alongside the launch of the game.

The energetic advert takes players on a quickfire journey through F1 2020’s exciting innovations and features. It opens with My Team, the new driver-manager feature that allows players to create their own team and line-up on the grid against the 10 Formula 1® teams.

Celebrating the greatest and most successful F1 driver of all time, the F1 2020 Deluxe Michael Schumacher Edition lets players drive as Michael in four of his most iconic cars. Alongside the Jordan 191, Benetton B194, Benetton B195 and Ferrari F1-2000, players receive exclusive in-game content including themed car liveries and driver customization items, including a unique podium celebration.

Split-screen makes its welcome return, enabling players of all levels to compete side-by-side. The mode allows players to take advantage of the new driving assists introduced to all game modes this year. The camera then sweeps across the two new circuits, Hanoi Circuit and Circuit Zandvoort before concluding with Mercedes and Ferrari going wheel to wheel as they surge towards the checkered flag.

F1 2020 will release on Friday, July 10, 2020 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox One X, PC, and Google Stadia (MSRP $59.99). Players who purchase the F1 2020 Deluxe Michael Schumacher Edition (MSRP $69.99) will receive exclusive content and three days early access starting on July 7, 2020.

I've been an avid gamer since I stumbled upon ZORK running in my local Radio Shack in 1980. Ten years later I was working for Sierra Online. Since then I've owned nearly every game system and most of the games to go with them. Not sure if 40+ years of gaming qualifies me to write reviews, but I do it anyway.
