Deadness Out Now on Steam

Indie game developer ALIEN Studio is releasing Deadness, a horror VR game, on Steam VR, Viveport, and Valve Index, today.

Deadness is a spine-chilling and eerie game where you are helplessly confined to a wheelchair in a super-realistic VR environment.

Just like in reality, in the wheelchair, you can only move using your hands which control all the movements which makes the game feel even more realistic. Your imagination will fuel your fear as you try to hide from the undead.

Unlike other VR games, Deadness has a unique mechanic where you can only move using your hands which control all the movements as you would in real life sitting on a wheelchair.

Unfortunately, Deadness is facing some technical restrictions on the Oculus Rift platform. Although it would take some time, an update is being worked on to allow Oculus support.

I've been an avid gamer since I stumbled upon ZORK running in my local Radio Shack in 1980. Ten years later I was working for Sierra Online. Since then I've owned nearly every game system and most of the games to go with them. Not sure if 40+ years of gaming qualifies me to write reviews, but I do it anyway.
