Dead Space Devs Talk Creating a Terrifying Atmosphere Unique to Each Player

In case you missed it, Motive Studio today released the fourth entry in their “Inside Dead Space” blog series. Titled “The Intensity Director,” the post highlights the importance of atmosphere, especially in a horror game, and how the devs want to keep players on the edge of their seats — in the best way possible. By controlling the level of tension and stress in the game, the Intensity Director creates a terrifying environment and experience unique to each player, even when simply returning to a previously visited area.
