WATCH DOGS: LEGION NOW AVAILABLE ON PLAYSTATION 5

Ubisoft® announced today that Watch Dogs®: Legion is now available on PlayStation®5. The game is rated M for Mature. The physical version of the game on PlayStation®5 will be available on November 24.

Built with a next-gen concept, Watch Dogs: Legion introduces “Play as Anyone,” a never-before-seen gameplay innovation created by Ubisoft Toronto*, the studio behind Watch Dogs: Legion. Play as Anyone gives players the entire city of London to choose for their roster of resistance members. Every single person in the open world can be recruited and played, is unique and has a backstory, personality and skillset. Ray tracing on PlayStation®5 will immerse players in a city full of digital screens, holograms, and neon lights, while players can also take advantage of the Tempest 3D Audio engine to bring London to life by hearing every passing car, talking pedestrian, or drone flying overhead. Thanks to the ultra-high speed SSD, loading times will be dramatically reduced, allowing for even quicker fast-travel and seamless high-speed drives across London. Adaptive triggers enable players to enjoy hand-tuned responses, elevating the visceral feeling of high-tension moments. Players can upgrade their PlayStation®4 copy of the game to the PlayStation®5** version at no additional cost.

The Online multiplayer mode of Watch Dogs: Legion will be available on December 3 as part of a free game update for all Watch Dogs: Legion players. Watch Dogs: Legion has a robust post-launch plan that will bring fresh content to the single-player mode and introduce online multiplayer modes.

In Watch Dogs: Legion, London is facing its downfall. Amidst the growing unrest of a restless London, an unknown entity named Zero-Day has framed secret underground resistance DedSec for coordinated bombings across London. In the aftermath, criminal opportunists from every corner of London took hold and filled the void left by a defeated government. As a member of DedSec, players will be going up against those criminal opportunists in Watch Dogs: Legion: sadists, mercenaries, cybercriminals, and more, so they’ll have to be prepared for a variety of situations. Players must recruit members into their DedSec Resistance to take on these criminal opportunists, liberate London and uncover the identity of Zero-Day.

Watch Dogs: Legion has a variety of accessibility options, ranging from fully customizable controls to directional audio captions. A full list of accessibility options can be found on news.ubisoft.com.

Next-Gen Cyberpunk Horror, Observer: System Redux, Out Now On PlayStation 5

Bloober Team is excited to announce the launch of Observer: System Redux as a day 1 title on PlayStation 5. Featuring 4K resolution, upgraded textures, new animations, models, and effects, all transformed with next-gen visual features, Observer: System Redux is now available on PlayStation 5 and is priced at €29.99 and $29.99 regionally.

“We’re excited to bring our award-winning dark cyberpunk thriller to PlayStation 5 with upgraded visuals and new stories,” said Piotr Babieno, Bloober Team CEO. “The team has taken full advantage of everything the PlayStation 5 has to offer, especially all the opportunities to use the DualSense controller to build player immersion. We’ve envisioned the DualSense haptic feedback system as a way to better bridge the gap between the experiences players see and hear in the game by tying them to sensations felt in the real world.”

Featuring Rutger Hauer in one of his last voice-acting roles (Dan Lazarski/Observer), Observer: System Redux adds three new major missions: Errant Signal, Her Fearful Symmetry, and It Runs in the Family to expand on the dystopian world the story explores.

This cyberpunk thriller is available in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean. Observer: System Redux launched on Xbox Series X and PC earlier this month.

What is Observer: System Redux?

The year is 2084.

The future has turned out much darker than anyone could imagine. First, there was the Nanophage. A digital plague that killed thousands upon thousands of those who chose to augment their minds and bodies.

Then came the War, leaving both the West and the East decimated and shattered. With no one left to seize power, corporations took over and forged their own crooked empires.

You are a tool of corporate oppression. Feared and despised, you hack into the darkest corners of your suspects’ minds. You creep into their dreams, expose their fears, and extract whatever your investigation may require.

You are an Observer.

Players can dive deeper into this dystopian reality thanks to expanded gameplay and brand-new story content, while newcomers will get the chance to experience this cyberpunk thriller in all its chilling next-gen glory.
