The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets gets PSVR physical release
Fast Travel Games and Perp Games are thrilled to reveal that The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets will receive a physical PlayStation VR Release in EU Territories on February 28th. Winner of the ‘Best Immersive Game’ at the 2019 Raindance Film Festival and recently nominated as a finalist in the ‘Immersive Reality Game of the Year‘ category at the 2020 DICE Awards, this critically acclaimed tale of childlike wonder will take players to fully interactive, wonderful miniature worlds, built from the ground up for Virtual Reality.
Each world is hand-crafted and unique in this heart-warming tale as players are guided through their adventure by the voice of their grandfather. All areas are filled with unique puzzles that can be solved by gripping, pushing, dropping and spinning the environment around them. The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets encourages exploration, directing you to peer behind volcanoes and search through an old summer cottage to learn more about the story and find hidden secrets.
Of the announcement, Andreas Juliusson, CMO at Fast Travel Games, says “The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets is a real passion project of ours and has already won the hearts of players as well as critics, recently getting a finalists nomination in the DICE Awards. I am delighted to see our heart-warming puzzler now being released on disc for PSVR players in Europe!”
Rob Edwards, Managing Director at Perp Games, is delighted at the continued success of the game. “Seeing Virtual Reality games like The Curious Tale of Stolen Pets win prestigious awards at festivals shows how far the medium has come.
