Founded in May 2000 by professional game developers, Beenox mission was to create original contents for the PC and the Macintosh platforms using its own proprietary technology. By 2002, the company had three original products out for the home computer market. All of the startup team had an extensive development background on the console market with many hit PS1 titles published (such as Bugs and Taz: Time Busters) and Beenox goal was to go back to it.
