BROTHERS – A TALE OF TWO SONS WILL LAUNCH ON NEW GENERATION CONSOLES AND MOBILE DEVICES

505 Games today confirmed the critically-acclaimed hit Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons will launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this Summer, complete with additional Director’s Commentary, Soundtrack and Concept Art Gallery content.

In addition to the new generation platform releases, the award winning and emotionally charged puzzle/adventure game will also be brought to iOS, Android and Windows Phone devices this holiday season, giving mobile and tablet gamers the chance to experience the unforgettable narrative anytime, anywhere.

Developed by Starbreeze Studios and directed by filmmaker Josef Fares, Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons is a breathtaking tale of two siblings, desperate to save a father on the brink of death.  They are left with only one option: set out on a journey to find and retrieve an elixir that can cure his terminal illness.  Throughout their expedition they come to rely on one another to survive.  One must be strong when the other is weak, one must be brave, when the other is fearful, supporting each other throughout their voyage. Players must master a unique control system to guide both brothers simultaneously across these perilous lands.

A wholly immersive experience, Brothers is an epic story told without words, set in an ever-changing world, ranging from craggy mountain peaks to the musty depths of underground caverns. This unique mythical world, which draws inspiration from Nordic cultures and archaeology, is in a state of transition between the old and the new ways.

Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons will be available this summer (2015) on PS4 and XBOX One. The game will also be available via app store download on Apple iOS, Android and Windows phone devices this holiday season.

I've been an avid gamer since I stumbled upon ZORK running in my local Radio Shack in 1980. Ten years later I was working for Sierra Online. Since then I've owned nearly every game system and most of the games to go with them. Not sure if 40+ years of gaming qualifies me to write reviews, but I do it anyway.
